She lives with her two adult sons, a fat black cat, a three-legged great dane, a tarantula, and 7 fish tanks. When she isn't arguing with Scribus and sloppy HTML, she enjoys playing Stardew Valley, tending flowers in her little garden, and designing fairy fashion for her hobby boutique, The Cracked Teacup.
Ms. Holmes has an English degree from the College of Charleston. She writes books for children as well as business nonfiction, memoir, and poetry for adults. Her mission is to spread awareness and provide support for neurodivergence, trauma recovery and healing, single motherhood, poverty, and other social welfare issues.
Her latest release is a juvenile nonfiction picture book, Wings for Your Heart. It is an extended follow-up to her first title, Never Let Go, a self-help book for kids and inner children. Her first fictional story for children, The Richest Kid in Town, should be out this fall. Her books are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other bookstores throughout the world.
